Sony Walkman WM-EX70 Restoration

Bought from Mercari for JPY 3,300 (steal!!). From what I see, most fully working Walkman models can be found here in Japan for around 10k JPY for meh ones, and around 20k JPY for good ones (this one included). So if I can get it working for even a fraction of the price of a fully working one would be pretty cool.

After closer inspection, seems that the pinch roller module is broken on one side.

Currently following this service manual to fix broken pinch roller module. They really don’t make things with support like this anymore do they.

Ordered replacement pinch rollers from aliexpress + donor compatible Walkman model to extract the pinch roller module itself. (工事中)
